Popular Science+ for iPad

Based on BERG London’s MAG+ concept from late last year, Bonnier is launching Popular Science+, its first iPad magazine. Here’s BERG’s launch announcement, including the following behind-the-scenes video:

I really like the spatial dimension of moving horizontally between articles and vertically within an article. While scrolling might not work as well as page flip for long form material such as eBooks, i have little doubt that it’ll work just fine (if not better than page flip) for shorter content.
