BlogTalk Reloaded
Blogtalk returns to vienna in october 2006. What could be better than a nice conference right in your hometown? I don’t quite remember how i managed to miss blogtalk 2.0 in 2004, but i still kinda regret it, so this time round i’ll throw my money in their direction as soon as registration opens.
In the meantime: lift in february perhaps? 93 seats remaining, we’ll see. Lift is totally off the table after some kneejerk comments on Jan’s weblog by one of their organizers. It’s nice that they offer student discounts, but this makes it look like this isn’t the right conference for lowly students.
oh nooo, well, oh yes, well, let me re-pharse that. if you go to lift06 i shall really totally regret that i spoiled my chance of ever going by complaining about the entry fees on my blog. (ok, the fact that laurant haug, the organiser, responded with supreme arrogance and even published my email adress (?!?) in the comments did not help).
btw. will you speak with a total loser noob in WoW? i am pieceoplastc, note the missing i.

Lift is off the table then - what a kneejerk reaction. Way to go to alienate prospective customers, someone obviously didn’t read his cluetrain manifesto.
As for wow: let me warn you, it’ll totally eat away your life, but in a good way :). I’d love to do some questing and instance running, glad you chose horde judging by your screenshots. Only problem is we have to be on the same realm (and obviously same faction) to play together, no open character transfers between servers yet… I spend 99.9% of wow-time on german pvp server destromath, so uhm, would it be too much to ask you to reroll on that server if you aren’t completely enamored somewhere else already? My main character is a troll rogue named Zuultar, just send me a /tell when i’m on or a letter when i’m not.
