I almost forgot to mention that Josh made volunteers rank their shoes. As Bruce Sterling puts it:

Though i got the impression that geeks obsess even more about bags. Sure, there’s still your fair share of black square nylon laptoptotes, mostly among suits, but there’re also lots of nice bags around here. Took me quite long and a slight incentive by a friend to find my love to bags, but once you’re hooked there’s no way out…
