New Tungsten coming up?
Thanks to some leaked info (from staples internal inventory system) rumors about a new palm tungsten c are circulating. Considering its expected price of $499.99 and the recent pricedrop of the tungsten t to $399 it looks like there’s a new highend-model coming up.

Great feature on NEC Versa LitePad
Read on @tabletpctalk. Considering its weight and size you have to love it!
Bad taste @gizmodo?
I keep wondering about two posts @gizmodo (this one and this one). How can anyone call siemens new xelibri productline “horrid” next to a HUGE, UGLY BRICK (according to gizmodo “it looks a bit bulky”) like samsungs new matrix phone. Especially Xelibri #3 is innovative, small and looks decent, but actually i never understood the bad taste americans show among cellphones.
I also wondered why they think “…that no one should turn to a big German conglomerate for their fashion accessories” after siemens won an if design prize for the s55. Imho the s55 looks better than any nokia- or se-phone released in the last year and the new sx1 continues this trend.
update: i added a questionmark after the title cause imho it sounded a bit insulting.
update #2: peter rojas (editorial director of gizmodo) dropped me a note that he “think[s that] both phones look bad.”

TheFeature takes a look at 3GSM Cannes
Good article on 3gsm cannes @the feature. Rather market-centered than device-centered as usual @the feature. Interesting statement by samsung on microsofts phone-strategy: ‘Microsoft and Intel “took all the value and left hardware makers as clone producers.”‘ Surprise, surprise…

Second MS smartphone by Orange
Orange wants to reach a bigger audience with their second ms smartphone targeting rather the multimedia-user than the business-user. At least it looks better than the new us-smartphone.

Smartphones coming to the US
Imho it’s plain ugly, but the 3650 isn’t a beauty, either.
